💜The Kitchen represents: (Currently being renovated) 

•   Nourishment and Care: The kitchen represents sustenance, both physical and emotional, highlighting the importance of nurturing and family ties. 

•   Creativity: Cooking can symbolize creativity and the act of making something from scratch, reflecting personal growth.

 

As I’ve mentioned before in the “hallway” section of this website, that this is the area of my life I fell in love with at an early age. I have spent years, (decades if you will), teaching but also growing and learning as well. Before I started every circle time I would always say “we look, we listen, and we learn.” I was fortunate to have someone older than I was when I first started who was like a mentor to me. She taught me most of what I know and the rest was learned through experience. Not only do I believe that we need more people like her, I also always wanted to be like her. Passing down what I know and making the world a better place. 

 

I’ve created a separate avenue based on these beliefs and aspirations. You can consider this another way to creatively express myself while learning, and teaching others at the same time. The “home” for growth and development for everyone in the proverbial “village” and community.
