💜The Parlor represents:
-
Welcome and Conversation: A gathering place where people connect, exchange ideas, and feel invited into the community.
-
Belonging and Openness: It symbolizes hospitality, acceptance, and the shared space created when people come together.
While I was a preschool teacher I always felt like communication with coworkers and bosses would be limited due to the constraints of keeping the work place professional. And I am not against that at all. The workplace is not an environment to vent or just simply express your frustrations and concerns.
This a community where I want to teacher, educators, parents, etc. to communicate and network. This is a space where you can share your experiences, get advice, or share ideas with each other. Below is the community guidelines for the Visionary Treatise group. Please take a few minutes to read it in its entirety. I expect everyone to abide by these guidelines because they will be enforced if need be.
Community Guidelines
Visionary Treatise is a space to learn from real experiences and support one another. Share your stories to reflect and grow—not to shame, blame, or expose anyone.
Please:
• Protect privacy. Don’t share names, photos, locations, or details that could identify a child, family, school, or colleague. Use broad or changed details when needed.
• Share sensitive context, including race/ ethnicity, only when it’s genuinely relevant; explain its role without stereotyping or blaming.
• Speak from your own experience and treat others with respect. No harassment, discrimination, personal attacks, or harmful advice.
• Don’t repost or share another member’s story outside this group without their permission.
This is a learning community, not a place to diagnose people or make claims about anyone based on a story. Please remember that online privacy can’t be guaranteed. Posts that violate these guidelines will be removed, and members may be removed to protect the community.
If you want to join this community, sign up at the top of this page. I can’t wait to see how big this community becomes.
